Description Unalloyed structural steel. Applications Common structural steel for welded assemblies, Re>355 N/mm2. Guaranted toughness at 0 oC. It can be used for statically and dynamically stressed constructions. Physical properties (avarage values) at ambient temperature Modulus of elasticity [103 x N/mm2]: 210 Density [g/cm3]: 7.80 Soft Annealing Heat to 650-700oC, cool slowly. Hardening Harden from a temperature of 860-890oC followed by oil or water quenching. Tempering Normalizing temperature: 860-890oC. Forging Hot forming temperature: 1050-850oC.
