    Applications
    Hot working steel, pilger mandrels ø 140 -200 mm, crack resistant for hot work.

    Physical properties (avarage values) at ambient temperature

    Soft Annealing
    Heat to 670-700oC, cool slowly.

    Hardening
    Harden from a temperature of 840-870oC followed by oil quenching.

    Tempering
    Tempering temperature: 400-600oC.

    Forging
    Hot forming temperature: 1050-850oC.

    Machinability
