Soft Annealing
Heat to approx. 720oC, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 224.

Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 850-890oC followed by oil quenching.

Tempering
Tempering temperature: 620-640oC.

Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1100-850oC.
