Description
High-temperature structural steel.

Applications
Quenched and subsequently tempered steel, resistant at higher temperatures, forgings for turbine components up to working temperatures 530oC. 

Physical properties (avarage values) at ambient temperature

Density [g/cm3]: 7.85

Soft Annealing
Heat to 650-720oC, cool slowly in furnace.

Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 880-920oC followed by oil quenching.

Tempering
Tempering temperature: 580-680oC.
